1)   Introduction: In recent days, robots and machines are replacing manual labor on the manufacturing floor. This reduces the demand for manual labor. On the other hand, it eliminates many jobs and increases unemployment. Determine whether the machines are increasing unemployment: Person X agrees with the point that machines and robots influence the major unemployment issues. Robots and machines are replacing manual labor on the manufacturing floor. Robots are relatively effective and efficient when compared to human workers. It motivates the firm to use machines and robots instead of workers. Semi-skilled laborers are sufficient to operate the machines, as it does not need skilled laborers. Thus, the company can cut down the cost of wages. Many of the companies are motivated to use robots, as it is a one-time expense and provide great efficiency. Conclusion: Machines are more efficient and less expensive than human workers are. The company need not hire skilled laborers. The company can hire semi-skilled laborers to operate the machine by paying low wages. The wage will be low and it will reduce the wage cost incurred in the organization. These advantages of the machine reduce the human role in production and increases unemployment.   2) The affect that the CIM would have over the various industries are: Clothing industry  In the clothing industry, the computer aided automated manufacturing would be highly beneficial and successful.  The efficiency and speed of operations enabled by the computer aided systems would easily transcend the speed of human work.  The chances of errors would be lowered if the machines are checked and maintained on a regular basis.
