Being a prospective head of a school these are major concern which should be focused upon and undertaken as these may create serious hurdles in functioning of the school in the long run and any steps from authorize department to school can lead to spoiling life of children and other stakeholders. A prospective head need to address the issues of certification if they are following the norms laid down by the education authorities. Further he is responsible for maintaining the image of the school so any serious action on small regulatory issues can tarnish the image of whole school so first and foremost concern should be to list down the regulatory approvals and try to complete these before taking over.

2) Parents engagement and addressing their concerns

its the foundation on which a schools performs. A educational head is expected to resolve the concerns of parents regarding school environment and infrastructure while engaging with them for the wholistic development of the children. He need to address their concern on safety of their children and take various initiative to ensure this plus he need to keep a track and advise on what to include in curriculum for overall development of the children. If anything in missing in process its his responsibility to take teachers in confidence and ensure disciplinary actions are taken. Being a head of the school organization he has responsibility that every work is assigned to respective personal and various department are functioning diligently, specially administration and maintenance. Classes are being scheduled timely and proper attendance are being taken care of. Sports and other extra curricular activities are being undertaken on proper time and cleanliness of school facility such as toilets, ground, classes and furniture are well taken care of. Inter-school competition and interaction : Such competition and interactions are necessary to have idea about how your school are performing in comparison with their surrounding. It may be in sports, debate, writing , drawing etc. Teachers should also participate and interact with other schools and exchange ideas on faculties level of best practices followed with in schools. Further based on inputs trainings and seminars could be arranged for required development of the teachers and staff. There can be assigned a ranking system for knowledge and professional development which can be linked with students performance and different school teachers can compete to achive level of efficiency in their student and accordingly rewarded with higher ranking.
