3. Max Weber - Bureaucratic Theory of Management

4. Elton Mayo - Behavioral Theory of Management (Hawthorne Effect)

Following are the changes that a manager should make to overcome the issue:

•Respond to complaints:Manager should be responsive to the issues and complaints of the offending employees, colleagues dont dont brush them off document the complaints in detail and ask for specific examples of the behaviour in question maintain confidentiality to the greatest extent possible.

•Discourage rumour: Manager should discourage rumour mill which can only worsen the situation.

•Address the employees: Be specific about behaviour for example instead of saying you're impatient with John say you stood over John's desk snapping your fingures to get him to finish the sales report.

•Performance improvement plan:

-Work closely with HR

- Set specific goals and timeframes

-Outline consequences

-Meet regularly with employee to review.

•End Goal: the goal of a manager is not to dismiss the employees but instead to foster an environment of consideration politeness and civility in the workplace.

Following are most important skills lacking in the organization of manager that could help with challenges and issues:

1. Conceptual Skills: The ability to see the bigger picture and visualize the organization in broader sense.It needs creativity of the managers to visualize the future and anticipate changes in the environment. This leads to managers to concertrate more on the problem rather than wasting time with the symptoms. With these skills are able to plan for the whole organisation and decide on the direction towards the common goal. According to Professor carts conceptual are mostly required by the top level management because more time in planning, organizing , problem solving.

2. Human Relations Skills: The ability to work with people or relate with people. Also called the Interpersonal skills.It helps the manager to build better working relationship with other people with proper understanding and communication.It also helps the managers to lead guide motivate and develop team spirit. All levels of management's need human relationship skills as every manager has to interact with other people and work as a team to achieve common organizational goals.

3. Technical Skills: The knowledge and ability to perform a particular job.The lower level of management mainly control the operational activities of an organisation. The operations functions deals with process, procedures, techniques, etc. of performing a job also at the operational level the workers uses different types of tools and machine. Thus a lower level manager must possess sufficient knowledge and understanding of these process, procedures,tools,machine,etc to manage the operations. A proper understanding of these issues along with appropriate technical skills can thus ensure effecient process at the operational level of an organisation.

If i were to coach the manager then i would advice him that never dissappoint your team members,build more creative team, be sure that your team will feel heard.Try to avoid distractions so that you can perform your work with 100% of your brain, foster an environment where everyone feels confortable. I would advice him dont be stressed and be self confident.Dont be aggresive ,talk politely.
